Meg's Sesame/Tamari Salad Dressing
MEG'S RECIPE Approximately equal parts toasted sesame oil and tamari make up the bulk of the dressing, around 2/3 anyway. I go a bit heavier on the sesame oil. Add 1-2 cloves minced garlic. Add a good splash of each of the following: olive oil, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, and water Salt and freshly ground pepper Mix together in a jar until well combined
MY RECIPE INGREDIENTS 1/4 c sesame oil 1/4 c. Tamari 2 T. olive oil 2 T. balsamic vinegar 2 T. maple syrup 2 T. water
PREPARATION Combine all ingredients in jar in order and shake to combine.
My version leaves out the garlic to simplify. I usually don't even need to add salt and pepper but feel free to add to-taste.
